Phosphorus
Well we gave up on the rest of the eggs as now day 23. Did the egg bobbing test in warm water and no life left. Opened two, one was dis and the other infertile, shaking the others seems as if one stopped partway along and the other was dis as well. So went to pic up some chicks tonight and have put them under Gemma with her existing chick just now and removed all remaining eggs. Will now pray she doesn't reject them and attack them - seemed to only peck me and not the chicks when I put them in, she was getting dozy. So I hopefully will still have tomorrow: 1 black araucana 2 lavender araucana 2 Gold Brahmas Whoops how did the brahmas get in there, must have hitched a lift in the box somehow. Poor poor dh how he suffers - we need to definately extend the run now. Breeder can sex the brahmas at age 5 -6 weeks pretty well and will take back the boys, araucanas he can't properly sex until 16 weeks but will again take back boys (including the one I had already if necessary). I will be getting up at 5am to confirm no dead chicks from protective mum attack

Phosphorus
We had 5 eggs set under her and got one out of those Anyway not to worry. This morning got up at 4am to check no bloodbath. No bodies lying around the place so opened up eglu and went back to bed. Have looked just now and seen she has been out to do a broody poo and looking back in nest one of the lavender araucanas poked its head out at me, So she hasn't attacked them - looks like she has accepted them
