Lewis
Just thought I'd show you some photos I got Richard and Judy for Christmas. After a few weeks Jusy started laying eggs which kept cracking, so I bought them a nest and they started using it. They incubated an egg and hatched a tiny little chick. Chick at 5 days old: And the chick now: Judy laid a tiny egg a few weeks ago, but its clear. Thats it on a 5p coin!! Theres a few more photos and the blog about them. The Dogmother
Lewis, I see that you're having problems with the quality of their egg shells - let me know if you want me to pop some Limestone Flour in the post to you.

Lewis
Judy laid another egg a few days ago and they are all taking it in turns to hatch out this one. I've candled it and it looks fertile so far, I'll get some photos later when its dark. Lets just hope they don't get bored of sitting or drop this egg! Lewis
The Doves are all fine, we've had a few more eggs that they got bored of, but last night we had a new arrival! I candled the eggs a few days ago and they were fertile and developing and last night one hatched It's tiny but looks ok, hopefully the other will hatch. I don't have room for another 2 so I'd have to buy a new cage or sell them, probably sell them.
