eggs, what to do with all my eggs!:)

Recommended Posts

Pasta, some recipes use masses of eggs YD and I have just made some with 400g strong bread/pasta flour flour and 4 whole eggs. Mixed and kneaded for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and silky. This makes enough pasta for 4 people it can be dried or you could make half quite easily.

Swiss rolls use loads of eggs too :D

PARSI EGGS (if you like curryish things)

Fry a few snipped spring onions in some butter with a little mashed ginger (from a jar is good) & red chilli.

Add some halved cherry toms & a teaspoon of Garam masala & fry for about 3 mins, then scoop from the pan.

Lightly whisk 4 eggs then softly scramble in the same pan,. When done stir through the veg mix & some coriander, serve with seedy bread....YUM!!!

Ice cream :D - 300ml double cream, 4 eggs, 100g icing sugar (fondant icing sugar works best - recommended by a fellow omletter :D ). Whisk it all up and put in ice-cream maker if you have one, or in a container and keep stirring it as it freezes.

My best so far is vanilla with chocolate flake (3 flakes crushed to smallish pieces with a rolling pin), closely followed by the rum and raisin (two dessert spoons of rum and as many raisins as you like) and I'm going to use my home-grown strawberries in some later.

Pancakes are also great with real free-range eggs :D

You didn't want healthy recipes did you?
