jlo
I just thought that someone had hurt themselves really badly when my husband let out a bloodcurdling oath. In the end, it is just that England lost against Holland in the twenty twenty. I am sure that I am supposed to be upset but, quite frankly, there are more important things to get worked up about. He is now stomping around upstairs calling Stuart Broad all sorts of names. I think that a glass of wine may be called for! Does anyone else get really upset at things that are beyond their control???
Egluntyne
Until today I had no idea that Holland was a cricketing nation. :D

Space Chick
Being a long standing season ticket holder at Cardiff City and being stark raving mad, I can only suggest that there is indeed a link between watching sport and bad mental health! It scares the living daylight out of OH and my dog when I watch footie at home
PurpleTree
Don't know about mental health, but certainly dangerous. Hubby is a big Leeds Rhinos fan, a few years back they were in the Final of something and we had some friends over to watch it. It was all very tense, then Leeds scored a try, hubby leaped up in excitement and put his hand through the glass light fitting. We had to call my dad, quite late at night, to take him to A&E, to have his knuckles stitched up. Me and friends had to hoover all the glass up, amazingly our son, who was about 1yr old at the time, slept through the whole thing.
