Jules.
Anybody got any Joules wellies? How do they fit? I'm a shoe size 3, & hoping to get away with a child's welly As I'm not overlong in the leg I think they would fit better than the ladies ones. carrie
I have a pair of the ankle wellies (blue spots) I bought my usual shoe size and they are generous, certainly big enough to fit a pair of thick walking socks in were still not tight. Can't help with long wellies though, my legs are too fat for any to fit
AJuff
My Joules wellies are the same as my normal size. I loved the colour (blue) so I bought them. However they are not brill for gardening, hen cleaning and general walking about. After a year the rubber has perished and the inside lining has separated. I think they are more of a fashion wellie really.
ubereglu
I got mine a size down from usual-so bought a size 7 rather than a size 8. I've had them for about 6 months and worn them nearly every day and they're brilliant! Although if they do fall apart I can send them back as they have a 12 month guarantee. ubereglu
Just a thought, you might have to buy the adult wellies for the length in the leg/width...not sure. Check out there website though as they will have a list of stockists where you could hopefully try on some. I like the slug wellies in the kids range from this season! There's a joules outlet near me selling off the old season wellies and they tend to have loads of size threes.
Jules.
My wellies came yesterday & they are a great fit. I'm wearing them now I saw some ladies Joules wellies in Kirby Lonsdale yesterday & they would have been much too long for me. lwescott why do you think I wanted some Joules wellies The childrens ones even say " little Joule" on them- very apt for me as I'm 5 foot nothing tall
Valkyrie
Ahh bless, you have dinky tootsies. As a size 7/8 I still can't get the wellies big enough to cover my fat legs - and I had that very same problem when I was skinny (too much muscle through cycling everywhere I think). You ought to be able to find some really pretty ones.

Have you tried this company? http://www.jileon.com/wide_fit_wellies.html they are called Jileon. I haven't got any yet, still saving up , but I've tried my friends on and they are they only wellies I've ever found to fit my calves . They do them in super wide fit up to a size 8 in the ladies, in some really pretty patterns too. Love your new ones by the way Jules, I'm very

mostin
Mostin- shall I wear them at the next Omlet meet? Might keep the rain away for once Yes do , there are always chickens around anyway, so at least your feet will protected from any curry poos. Although it seems a shame to stand in those in such pretty wellies .

Valkyrie
Yes, yes, yes! I love all those boots. Thanks Mostin for the info - would you believe I am one centimetre too fat! (actuall that sounds rather better than my fat legs measure 51cm's. But all is not lost, I can still go for the footy ones - perhaps they have them in Scats up the road. Worth a try , I know how frustrating it can be to find nice pretty ones for my chunky little stumps .
