shibby69 Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 Thought i'd post pics of the chicks too - i started off with four... faye, loubie, daisy and bella. daisy and bella both passed away and loubie turned out to be in fact, a lou lol! So, when i took lou back to holme farm to swap him for a hen, i picked up a couple more chicks alongside the one i swapped lou for... and then visited again and a few more jumped in a carrier (i honestly have no idea how it happened!). Anyway, to cut a long story short, i now have eight chicks, various ages and breeds - i thought you might all like to see pictures We're hoping these are all hens and they do look to be Mallow - some sort of brahma - not sure yet, she sprouted up from gold brahma stock! Faye - blue splash jersey giant - she's huuuge now, growing so quickly and is such a tame, beautiful girl! Muffin - lemon cuckoo pekin Taylor - barnevelder Front - loubie, copper black maran, middle - faye, backish - evie, black cochin and at the very back, lola the white silkie Same but with Ruby the cream legbar (we think!) Ruby Faye and Ruby Faye and Lola with ruby and loubie on the scene also Mallow and Taylor please excuse the mess, i hadn't been poo-picking yet!
