I sat my prep test today after starting piano in September in my 40s!!!! I did very well, I am so pleased. The examiner was very nice and asked me if I planned to go on to Grade 1 and 2.

 

Just shows you're never too old!!

a friend of mine, who is 37, started playing last year as she was in between contacts and has really got into it. Another friend of ours is a piano teacher so she goes to her for lessons and when she eventually played for me, I thought she was brilliant. So well done to you! It is difficult, I've had a go on my sis in laws piano, but stick at it. My ED really wants to play so this years big family pressie for xmas might have to be a digital keyboard with piano weighted keys.
