Jules.
Since Nacho has started to make honking noises he will soon be our Sunday roast But so far he's not that big, he's getting to the size of my , but not really heavy with it So, I heard from my friend B yesterday who has heard that wheat is a good bulker-outer, & we reckoned that weetabix or similar would do the job. Also we've heard of feeding the chicks cream. The only problem is he will be fed extra food along with the other 2 cocks ( not a problem) & the 2 hen chicks. Should I let the girls eat this kind of food too? What else could I feed him?
bronze
If hes small for his age that may just be the way he is. You may find that feeding him up actuallyjust puts extra fat on him
Egluntyne
I agree, and extra fat on the girls could lead to problems with laying.
