Whatever happened to ...

Recommended Posts

......they were much more tiny & delicate & had that wondeful long flowing hair.

One of my Pippa Dolls had annoying hair that stuck up before hanging down (like she'd had her hair in a pony tail for too long!) I used to spend ages wetting and flattening it to try and make it hang properly only for it to spring up again as soon as it was dry ... :roll:

Yes mine did too until I cut all her hair off :shock: ! I went through an "I want to be a hairdresser" phase. Thank goodness I didn't or I'd have been sued by now :lol: ! I loved my Pippa dolls. I had 8 or 9 I think along with the Pippa Apartment which lived on my desk in my bedroom so I had to do my homework on my knees!!

Yup, I cut the hair off mine to, and got a slapped bum for it, because Pippa and I shared the exact same shade of hair, and my mum thought I had cut my own hair!

:lol::lol::lol:

Wow, I loved the Pippa link, thanks Kate - all those outfits! What memories they brought back. But I especially liked the customised Pippas - why did I have all boys? Do you think I could get them into playing with dolls? (more to the point, do you think OH would let them?? :twisted: )

Got me started now! remember cadbury chocolate machines you had to put an old penny in? :)

I remember but it was 2p when I was little. Sorry! :wink: (and you couldn't buy the refills easily either...)

I bought one of these from a jumble sale years ago as I was deprived as a child and never got any overpriced plastic tat :( (that's what mum called it :shock: ) It is in the spare room and I tried it out the other day, Dan you are right it takes 2p pieces. I thought you could buy those little chocolate bars though?
