How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Not sure whether anyone else has had this idea but I have 2 eglu cubes sited in a fruit/poultry cage and wondered how to give my hens some interesting ways of eating treats.

So I bought a large wild bird feeding station, left out the middle extension pole so it sits a couple of feet off the ground and have hung bird feeders filled with greenstuff, strawberries past their best, sweetcorn kernels etc. from the hooks. They love it. Hope it gives someone else an idea.

What a brilliant idea...I may just have to go a-hunting one of those first thing tomorrow to give the chooks some entertainment whilst I am away & their freeranging time is severely curtailed !

Yes my hens are kept in a poultry cage (actually a fruit cage but sold as a poultry cage from Harrod Horticultural), its 6m x 3m, 2m high and works really well. I have 2 cubes in there and the hens have never been happier. You can see through the side netting of the cage so it doesn't look obtrusive in the garden.

 

Think maybe Omlet could make some feeders like this to match the eglus-hint hint!!

Excellent idea I read about putting a string bag in their run full of greens, and whilst they enjoy it, they tear the bag to bits in minutes to reach the treats, so this idea will save me from eating tons of oranges to get the string bags!

my kids make apple treats by pushing different seeds and nuts into the peal and hanging them up in the run. the chickens love them and the kids have a great time making them!!!
