Mel (& Paul)
Nope He's not THAT boring He was the manager of a shop and I was at school but had a part time job as the Saturday girl. He used to make me do the tidying and hoovering. He'd tell me what to do and then go into his office. I would turn the hoover on, leave it in a corner and go and get a cup of coffee. When he came out of his office he would tell me how great the shop looked. Nothings changed
buffie
Talking of post...sorry to pinch the topic for a min. I have had an ebayer let her brother use her account and buy something. He won but after so many emails and messages, he's sent cash, said it would be cheque, to me but the vaguest address, not the one I supplied, you've ever seen. It's been sent recorded and signed for but it's not me!!!! Not sure what I can do now...hassle
AnnieP
don't quite understand what you mean Buffs... sorry...early morning and all. He's sent you cash?
Mel (& Paul)
I will see if I can find out if there is anyway you can find out where it was delivered to - but the problem will be getting the cash back - after all the postman is only obliged to deliver to the address, not the person - so if the sender put the wrong address on its his fault. I'll speak to Paul and come back to you
Mel (& Paul)
OK unfortunately recorded delivery only guarantees delivery and isnt good enough for valuables - that should be sent special delivery if you can get the recorded delivery details you can find out from the Post Office when it was delivered, the name and address of the person who signed for it and then seek to recover the cash from them. what a hassle
