In the APPLE store in the big apple! Funny how I always end up here but its such an amazing place - and free internet to boot!

 

I have packed the Omlet T shirt - its one of the things that DIDN'T get thrown away at the customs check. I honestly have no idea why there was a rusty 6 inch nail in my laptop bag - small boys eh? Oh and I also need a new pair of sewing scissors after packing them in my hand luggage. DOH!

 

It's 4.30pm here trying to keep James awake for a little while longer otherwise we will all be up at 4am and THIS is the only shop that is open then.

Right now it's 5.30am and there isn't that much you can do. James is watching infomercials. Mum is in the bathroom I'm paying bills online! I think we'll be on early breakfast in the local diner today.

Took some cracking piccies today of me in my Omlet T'shirt.

 

Had a terrible day though. Went to the top of the Rock - amazing, went to Madam Tussauds - rather so so. LOST MY N97 in there - Looking back at the pictures we took in there I lost it in the bathroom right before the exit. I realised at the exit that I'd lost it and went looking straight away - couldn't have even been 5 minutes. No sign of it and I;m not remotely hopeful that anyone would hand it it. The security lady said "oh usually they get handed in unless they are like I Phones." Yeah its way cooler and way more valuable than an I Phone. Of course I havn't updated my mobile phone insurance for it so it's not covered on there. My travel insurance would cover my camera but not sure about the phone but they are about the same value.

What a shame Pengy...too late now, but I don't suppose it would have been worth ringing it, it may just have still have been within hearing distance.

Aaawww Honey don't do that, you are still safe, so are Mum & James...it's only a phone....a maybe-uninsured one but replaceable.

Some people just aren't worth getting upset over, they are scum with no morals.

 

I was so lucky when I left my documents folder in the ladies at Orlando airport years ago...fortunately I realised as I got back to my friends & went straight back..."Ooops, word censored!"ody had gone into the cubicle and it was still sitting on top of the tissue dispenser...relief didn't come into what I felt, so I can understand some of what you are feeling at the moment.
