Yesterday I had my hair cut into a quite sharp fringed bob, so it needs a strong colour to make the most of the cut. I naturally have mid-brown hair and green eyes, I've been auburn before (and it looked fab), but not mahogany. Which to choose? Any preferences? The only drawback to the auburn is that I am going to my cousin's wedding this Friday (just the evening do, but that is a whole other thread ), and she naturally has stunning auburn/titian hair. I agree, our school has a policy of asking staff to remove 'non-conventional' colours and to keep tattoos covered and piercings in places other than earlobes not to be worn. These rules are the same as apply to the students. next there will be a staff uniform (which would at least make getting dressed easier in the gloom of a December morning!). The tattoo thing somehow doesn't seem to apply to young male PE teachers though... there are some rather funky bits of artwork on regular display there! I use a product called Scream, OH says that it is very much like Crazycolour. I have 'intense rich auburn' on my head wrapped in clingfilm as I type, three minutes left on the timer. Then I wash it off - at that point the whole bathroom usually turns white with polka dots of whatever colour dye I am using. The grey has become a bit too obvious to leave without colour on. Has anyone tried this stuff? http://www.naturesdream.co.uk/naturtint/phc.php My hairdresser says its excellent, the only reason I didn't get it this time is that I had to use some 'normal' dye up first. They also do a semi-permanent rinse that you can use over permanent colour or your normal hair colour, which comes in a pillarbox type red.... It should come out eventually - the only thing that seems to make a permanant blob in the grout and sealant is the black that number one uses. It also goes on towels floor, walls . . .
