Griffin Posted August 4, 2009 Share Posted August 4, 2009 Brilliant I wish I'd had my camera handy this afternoon to take a pic of my lot. Maisy is moulting and looking really scruffy. Jude at Cotswold Chickens told us when we bought the girls last year that they need extra protein when they're moulting and to give them a tin of Whiskas. Well I didn't have any of that but I did have some trays of Natures Menu dog food. I plonked it on the ground outside and it was immediately surrounded by EVERYONE! 8 hybrids, 3 ex-batts, 4 mongrels, a Silkie, two Brahma growers, plus some of the other growers who are free ranging (2 Orps, 2 Dorkings, 2 Silkies, 2 Araucanas and a tiny Poland) The little ones figured out they could crawl under the big ones, I don't think anybody got left out Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
