Kentwitch
We haven't got chickens yet as we are still in the planning stage. It gets more complicated every day Originally we were going to get a with two extensions. Now we are hoping to get a WIR with the on the outside. Have had a quote from Avaries4U for a 15 x 6 x 6ft run. I know some of you have used this firm, can you give me any feedback?
Space Chick
They are brilliant, the customer service is second to none, and the quality of the materials are excellent and they will accommodate your own design requests (ie. I wanted inner double doors for mine as an introduction area). In short Tony is fab Thought you might like to see a few photos of their runs, so look in the We're all planning walk in runs lets share part 2 sticky on the top, a few of us have Tony runs
Ain't Nobody Here
I echo what Debs says. Aviaries4u is fantastic . He'll make the run to your own design (I asked for a stable-type door - which works brilliantly) and it's all very well made and sturdy. You can see mine in my signature link . atsw
Another person here with an A4U run, and extremely happy with it. Mine is 15' x 6', which is one of the standard sizes, so no additional customisation costs. Excellent value for money. My whole build features heavily in the link that DebsL mentioned, but if you would like to see my own build and construction photos, there are here. The top of that page has links to more detailed pictures, including an entire slideshow of every step of the build so you'll be able to judge for yourself how each stage goes together. Construction of the main aviary was completed within a weekend, then a few more hours to put the finishing touches on. Andrew
Janty
We have a 'Tony' run as well. He was brilliant, even when I kept changing my mind as to what we wanted. He even built me a small afterthought run for the quail that butts up to the original run. I am working on hubby for run number two now. Seagazer
I'm another one with a Tony run - brilliant. We love it and it has been brilliant for the girls and for my garden Mine is 12 x 7 I think DebsL idea of the inner doors is fantastic and would be a great idea if you plan on getting lots of chickens over time. I will be going down the large dog crate idea inside the run when and if I get any more girls. Worth thinking about beforehand anyway.
