divinggatita
I have to give my Son a present from each of his pets at Christmas (an excuse to get more I think!) This year we now have Lily and Primrose the chooks. So I thought I'd sponser a rescue hen for him as their present to him, he's very concerned about battery hens and is making sure everyone he knows understands were their eggs and chickens they eat come from. He just did a project at school on Battery Hens to educate his classmates and no doubt in the future we will offer a home to a few of them. I just need to move house to a larger garden first and get some more experience in chicken keeping. Does anyone else sponser a hen? theherd123
What a fantastic idea for the chickens to 'buy' a sponsorship of a rescue hen - brilliant! I dont sponsor a hen but i have just rescued
AnnieP
I have bought all my teenage nieces and nephews 4 chickens from the World Vision website: they go, along with training, to families in Kenya. Here's a link for anyone interested. here Edited November 24, 2006 by Guest
Laura & CTB
I dont have the room for any more chickens so I did sponser a hen and sponsered one for my Mum. It's a fab idea isn't it?
