The chat room is always there so if any of you are fancying an online get together you can use it - you don't have to ask permission or anything. It's the quiz night in there tonight (assuming I remember to find some questions before 9 tonight). Feel free to come along and participate or just watch. DucktorWho Posted August 10, 2005 Share Posted August 10, 2005 Java is not my strong point I'm afraid but here are some things you can try: 1) Check you have the latest version (or any version!) installed by going to http://java.com/en/ On the front page of this site, once it loads, on the right hand side, just under the orange bar there should be a message either saying something about you not having the latest version or if you have it will say'YOU'VE GOT THE LATEST JAVA SOFTWARE!' If it says you haven't got the latest version it will give you a link to download and install it. 2) Check that you have java enabled in your browser. It could be that you do have it but that it's just not switched on. A few of the regular quizzers aren't coming tonight because 'Lost' is starting on Channel 4, together with a Big Brother eviction. How dare Channel 4 intrude on my quiz night?
