Dear all

 

This talk of red mite has got me itchy. I have Red Mite Powder but think I need something stronger in - just in case. I have looked on the web, but the delivery charges are high - so does anyone know where to buy Diatom and Poultry Shield within driving distance of Abingdon - which is south of Oxford?

There is a Countrywide Farmers in Witney, I'm not sure where that is in relation to you, they will almost certainly sell the Poultry Sheild bt I'm not sure about Diatom

I looked there first but the postage was very high. I think I'm popping into Cotswold Chickens this afternoon as I happen to be in Birmingham today and it's on the way home. Thank you all so much for your help. ( I think I need a new storage bin!)

I was going to ask you if Cotswold Chickens was too far for you! - we got ours from there.

 

Countrywide in Bearley (Stratford upon Avon) and Chipping Norton don't sell Poultry Shield.

Yes, I called there on Friday and came away equipped for battle.

 

What a wonderful place! Luckily (?) I didn't have an empty box in the car or I might have come away with more unplanned chickens. I loved the bags with chickens on and the cards and ... EVERYTHING!

 

I also took a shine to the lovely dog there - so like the one we lost recently aged 15 and who I was told may have some more pups.... So I'll be back!
