I'm so proud

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to say how proud of my 17 year old son i am :D we took out 6 year old twins down to devon for a week and my os stayed at home to look after the cats, rabbit and chickens. He's never been home alone and i was a bit worried, so wrote out the daily care routine for all the animals and stuck it on the fridge. i phoned twice a day to see how he was and he did an amazing job, even washed up and did the recycling :lol:

Well done your son, good to hear he was safe to be left alone :D

Not like when I was 17 and my parents went away and left me at home. I had a party, broke my mums lounge table and my parents were finding peanuts in strange places for months after. I was a bad bad daughter

:lol: my mum & dad would never have left me home alone  we're very lucky with him. his idea of fun is his ps3 and his computer :) and he loves the chooks, and often worries about them more than i do

BAD Debs!!:lol: I had a jelly fight at my boyfriends mums house once whilst they were in the dining room (BIG house) having a dinner party - when she bought the empty plates out jelly dripped on her head from the ceiling - we got very told off!!:lol:

Anyway, Well done to Ness3103's son, just goes to show all that hard slog in the upbringing is worth it in the end!:clap:

Thats good to hear. I frequently leave my 18 year old at home now. He knows he can't get away with too much as my neighbour always tells me whats been going on. Most of the time they're fine and they just sit out in the garden chatting etc.

I just wish my herbs weren't always dead by the time I get back. They are on the kitchen window sill, right next to the sink, why can they just not pour a bit of water on poor old Basil!
