Does anybody else ever feel.....Part # 7

Recommended Posts

Hello bods.

Purple Tree I think you need some iron tablets, I think you look a little anaemic - so don't overdo the dancing!

Good luck tomorrow Chicky.

Our local rag had DD's old teacher from the teeny weeny starter class at school plastered all over the front page - she has become the new head of the school. She's a really nice lady - the old one retired, and she was just soooo headmistressy - I felt like she was my headmistress, curtsey as you leave type (not that I did that at any school, but she has that air of authority where you speak jibberish when spoken to). At least the new one will be human - actually she has a wicked sense of humour - bad girly. Good luck to her I say.

DS says all his friends are ill, oh great, pass it round to us then. He is due to go to the US next week with his cousin - to see a Blink 182 gig. Luckily it isn't the one that's been cancelled.

DD is going to be on The Blackout's video, she is so excited she is getting a VIP pass apparently (along with a few hundred other fans no doubt). Her friend in London (nice boy, rather like him but he's not her boyfriend, ah well, plenty of time) organised it and they will be going together (ahhhhh). I gather the filming is in London too. The show in Petersfield will have London matey coming down here, so I said he could stop over - in the spare room. Ahhhhh.smiley-love002.gif

You sound like my dear departed Dad Koojie.

When I brought OH home, as a friend, my Dad kept asking me why he wasn't my boyfriend (well he was more "colourful" than that but this is a family forum  ). We got together a few months before Dad passed away, he was well chuffed.

Phil was the only bloke my Dad ever approved of :D

 My nan was like that "have you got a boyfriend yet?"

No

"What about that new boy?"

He's irritating.

"Good - you should marry him"

Yuk

But I did! Sadly she died before we started going out. But I have a feeling she was there at the wedding going "see, told you so"!

All quiet on the Western front tonight folks, so I shall be pootling upstairs to the land of nod. Er just remembered I left a load of turfed out stuff from the cupboards on the bed - bet I trip over them in the dark where OH has popped them on the floor on my side - hint hint, oh reallllllly. That was me multi tasking earlier - still got bathrooms to finish, hoovering to finish, ironing to finish (chooks sorted  ).

DD has her driving test tomorrow afternoon - fingers crossed - it's the theory part. Cor it's expensive - don't want too many turns at that. Plus I have no idea where it is apart from somewhere in Basingstoke. Basingstoke is a very big place!

Chichi doesn't even want to know about boys...I really think he finds the images of them with his teenage daughters mentally scarring .. even though we're good girls

He "approves" sisters boyfriend

Grandmother is a pesterer....I had to endure that today...:wink:

Good Luck to your DD Koojie.

Oh good luck Koojies daughter :D

JJ, Chichi's behaviour is natural, my Dad couldn't contemplate his girls with boyfriends, teenage or otherwise, until Phil came along, but then I was 26 with a divorce behind me at that point

Grandmothers, their general question "Are you courting yet?"

I don't think I have ever "courted"

And its nighty night from Neath. Henry has just been for a last piddle out the back and there was a toad on the doorstep :x

It has been cold here in South Wales for the past few days and we have needed the heating back on :(

Although today is looking dry at the moment which is most unusual, I am trying to debate whether to leave the girls out now so I know they can have some free ranging time (they didn't yesterday as it was too wet) but I will not be able to completely supervise them, as will need to be indoors, also I don't tend to let them out until mid afternoon after they have laid.

Decisions decisions

Hi guys :D

I've returned from school...mwahaha

I'm really pleased with my timetable and everything....today seemed so surreal though I just suddenly thought at the end of the day....am I old enough to do GCSEs?

Apparently so...the world just shifted into a different perspective 8)

I'd say my next plan was world domination, but I've already done that one

Well done to your DD Koojie :D
