DS has been given the new ones, but he had some of the old money given to him by MIL so he is a bit worried. I haven't seen or heard that they have been withdrawn yet - so I think they are more like the old £20 notes - still legal tender for the time being. But I could be wrong. I gather the boys missed their connecting flight (plane delayed before take-off for an hour and then someone was sick on the plane - ewwww). So they are in Philly at the moment and had an hotel for the night, hopefully getting to California today. Such a shame, because they only had hand luggage so they could make a speedy dash for the connection. It's certainly going to be a big adventure for them!
