chickenNutter
Hi Amaryllis, I'm new too, had my girls (two banties and a Welsummer) for about 7 weeks and I am besotted. I can't wait to get home from work everyday to see them. Still waiting for my first egg as they are still babies, but I'm not really bothered about the eggs, I just love them as little chickeny people. They are soo funny! Try and go on an Omlet hen party if there is one near you - I did and found it invaluable. I still have loads of questions too, so you wont be alone. amaryllis
Luckily I work nights so I will get to see them in the day. I'm sure I will fall in love with them too. The eggs will just be a bonus. I find it all so interesting, spend ages browsing on here. At least it should be fine at the weekend so hopefully should get it all done.
