One Man Banned
Well its been an interesting one I'll give it that! Got in from work at 00:45 - went to bed - up again at 07:30 to get dressed and ready to go to the dentist this morning (having another metal filling swopped over for white ones ) Got back from the dentist and within an hour the man came to fit the carpet in the spare room (painting finally finished yesterday morning before work) Forgot to go to the cashpoint to pay him with so ran around the house to find my cheque book - couldn't find it . I did find Joe's so used one of his instead (great thing about being a gay couple - also works with bank cards !!) After he'd gone I went to check the carpet over - HORROR! - it's the wrong colour than we ordered and doesn't match the one in the study so they can all be the same! Get things ready to go back to Carpetright and call in at B&Q for a blind (they do ones that they cut to fit instore)....... Arrive at Carpetright. Turns out that the roll had been swopped over in the store and they went from the order pad location note and didn't think to cross-ref the colour to check! - they offered £25.00 or replace the wrong one completely (without charge as it was their mistake ) - I chose the latter and they will be out first call tomorrow morning to fit the correct carpet. Drove round to B&Q and could not find the machine that cuts the blinds anywhere - why? They don't do it anymore - that'll be one room at the back of the house that won't match the others then! Yet to find the right sized blind so that's a job for next week! Then had to go to Stroud to pick up my new specs so at least my eyeballs can have a break from contact lenses. Just got to go back to work now (a 2hr round trip ) as I left my mobile in the car I had yesterday and will need it (it's my life!). Was then supposed to be going out for dinner with a friend this evening - great idea as we haven't been shopping and have nothing in so that was perfect - Emma's not very well and now we're not going out! ARGHH!! I'll see you all in the Omlet bar when I get back home - and bought something for dinner, and cooked it - I think I need a VERY large drink! A xx

One Man Banned
not wishing to be too dramatic but I got in a few minutes ago The drive to work took over 2hrs to get there as the M5 was CLOSED southbound! So that two hour round trip went out the window! Joe has put the hot water on and he went and got some food so I shall eat up and go climb in the bath for a really long soak Heck! I'm knackered A zzzzz
kazaddress
I heard about the M5 traffic. how awful We arrived in work at 10am having left the house at 7:30am this morning. Our boss was not too impressed. There was a head on collision on the bypass, how 2 cars headng the same direction managed to smash in to each other head on i will never know (I hope they were ok). Then in Elstead a 4x4 attempted to drive under a double-lorry thing. Luckily no one was hurt, that delayed us by a further 30 mins. I was astounded at the amount of flooding and water on the roads! and even our bosses lake has flooded
