Omlet Staff james Posted September 30, 2009 Omlet Staff Share Posted September 30, 2009 Hi, We are working on a new beekeeping guide which is going to be available for free, via download from our website. Most of the text has been written however we are short of a few photos. So, I was wondering if anyone might have any good photos that we could use for the guide? We are looking for photos of the following: Beekeeping Photos ============ A queen laying an egg in a cell Swarms in various locations A bee sting still in the skin Multiply eggs inside a cell (i.e. from a queen that is failing or a laying worker). A frame which has had meltdown (i.e the hive has got too hot). Health Photos ========= Varroa mites up close Varroa mites on a laevae up close Varroa mites on bee up close Wax moths Wax moth cocoons Frame of wax destroyed by wax moth Foulbrood in cells Foulbrood stringiness test in cell Chalkbrood Woodpecker damaged hives Mouse damaged frames You might only have one or two from the list but this would be fine. If you do have a photo please could you email me directly, with a copy of the photo: My email address is: james@omlet.co.uk and my direct line is 01295 757 142. Thanks, James
