Valkyrie Posted October 1, 2009 Share Posted October 1, 2009 We're very lucky here with lots of farms around some organic, some not, so probably would be able to do that easily. When you consider we are only 44 miles from London, 50 sounds a long way, unless you are in the middle of nowhere. Then DS has his microwave Angus beefburgers at 2.30 in the morning! I hate the idea of our food travelling from the other side of the world when we can grow it perfectly well here and locally too. It is one thing getting tropical fruits and veg but some of the other foods that we import and drag around the country just seems crazy to me.
