I need some thermal socks for my eldest who has really bad circulation in her hands & feet & it finding standing at the bus stop at 7.45am uncomfortable.

But,I can only find big,thick woolly ones, which,as she is wearing shoes,are no good

 

M&S have opaque thermal tights in a sock sort of fabric,but their thermal socks are thick too.

 

Can anyone tell me if somewhere sells THIN thermal socks - sort of normal sock weight?

There is a company called Damart. www.damart.co.uk. They used to sell wonderfully thin thermal socks and gloves and also silk liners which were super warm. I haven't bought from them in years though so am not sure if they still do them.

I really feel for your daughter as I have awful cirulation. It is worth a try.

Nothing in Damart,but they have thermal liner socks in Sock Shop,which are expensive,but could be worth a go - thanks

No, she isn't diagnosed with Reynauds, its just bad circulation really, & chilblains

 

Insoles we have treid,but like the chunky or cable socks,they make her shoes too tight which makes the circulation worse

 

I will look in Millets tomorrow - going that way anyhow

I got my thermal socks from millets too, they are made up of two thin layers and the result is like a normal sock, they are sold as anti blister socks for hiking but are thermal and absolutely wonderful

Another vote for Millets - and a lot of them are having sales at the mo too, as they are shutting a lot of branches.
