PurpleTree
Hope you're having a good time in Aber Lewis, wonder if you bumped into my cousin, she's now employed by Aber Uni, can't remember what doing though, production manager or assistant or something. We've been at a party for most of the morning, one of Dan's best friends. It was in one of those soft play, climbing frame places. Complete chaos and really noisy, was glad to get our of there. Waiting for my jacket spud to cook now, I'm starving.
Scramble
Wow...very quiet on here. Hope you had fun today PurpleTree A word of warning...never go to Hobbycraft unless you want to feel as if it is Christmas Sister needed some clay for art so we popped out...and I ended up buying some snowflake wool?! Oh well....it is cuddlable...so that is all that counts. Must remember how to knit ...
Lewis
Well I still like it We were at IBERS (llanbadarn campus) then went to penglais campus (the main one), so may have seen your cousin if she's a rural/biological scientist Then went to the town + on the beach. I didn't see any chickens all day, though plenty of sheep, cows + horses ... we did see a sheep sale on the way back but they wouldn't stop
ClaireG
Poor DS had an argument with a porta cabin earlier. DH took him over to the park on his bike and he couldn't make a turn fast enough (only just learnt to ride due to his dyspraxia) and went into a portacabin. He has a bump on his head and a slightly swollen nose and a very swollen middle finger on his right hand. We took him to the minor injuries unit they gave us a head injury sheet and sent us to A&E for x rays. Luckily his finger isn't broken but is very badly bruised and crushed
Scramble
Oh dear Hope he is better soon.x Lewis - Are you surprised they didn't stop...we all know how you feel about sheep So...how does Lewis feel about Aber? Bydd Lewis yn mynd i prifysgol Aberystwyth? I also attempted to find some wheat bags in boots today...I was unsuccesful...so I know have a heat patch stuck to my neck I have to turn my whole body to look in either direction and I can't lift my right arm higher than my shoulder.....there is also a slight risk of burning.... Lewis
Aber is good, it was really sunny there today, people are nice, course looks good + you can choose which modules to look at in more detail; farm, companion, equine and biology The campus is a few minutes away from the main campus as there are horse + thins there, but in 2 years they're planning on merging the two. And sheep are good!
Valkyrie
Sounds Lewis. Oh dear poor miniClaire - glad he didn't break anything. Don't mention Hobbycraft when Erin's around - she buys up the whole bloomin' shop! Years ago we bought 2 diddy Christmas trees - on for each of our little dears. I used Christmassy pipecleaners for tinsel and I sewed multicoloured tiny Christmassy pompoms in a chain and added those. We also bought a packet of teeny cats which were then divided in half and they became baubles to hang on the tree. Then I bought some battery lights that were green and red. They were kept in the bedrooms so that they could have a little something in the window (different to those fake candle things). Now the little trees have been squashed into unrecognisable shapes (have no idea where the decorations got to), but are still brought out every year! ClaireG
I trapped a nerve in my neck years ago JJ and your syptoms sound similar Can you go to the Docs on Monday if your still in pain? Are you taking any pain killers?
Valkyrie
How did I miss JJ's bit? You might be doing the wrong thing and it needs an ice pack instead. Do what Aunty Claire says - go to the doccies and have it checked out.
Scramble
Aw...I hate it when computers turn evil, Laura. Hope it co-operates soon I've had this neck thing before...I just woke up one morning and it was so painful that I couldn't even use my arm to support myself to sit up After a couple of days it went away so we didn't go to the doctors. That was a while ago now, though. I'm not on any pain killers...the thing with the heat patch is that I was using it instead of Deep Heat cream...which helped...but it isn't a very nice smell I think I would freeze if I used an ice pack... the weather around here

ClaireG
Morning all Poor Adam is feeling a bit sorry for himself this morning and is in quite a bit of pain He hasn't got a big lump on his head which i thought he might get, it's just grazed and red. His nose is still swollen and he has a couple of red marks on it. He's had some childrens nurofen and i'm going shopping in a bit so will get some calpol. After speaking to Snowy on FB last night i've strapped his fingers up and he's going to wear a sling to school. No writting or PE for him for a few days. Space Chick
Oh Claire, poor Adam Just come back from my Grandads, he seems to be going downhill, fast. I honestly don't know what to do for the best, he still wants to live on his own and maintain his independence but I am worried. It doesn't help that I haven't been able to do much for him whilst I was ill. On the positive side though, Phil has finely got around to getting a webcam for the girls

Space Chick
OK, the webcam needs work, Phil has ordered something from EBay to put the webcam in the WIR, at the moment it is in our kitchen window so you can't see much, but I think I will test it on you friends (If I can be so bold!). So, can you see the picture?? http://doodlesite.com/chookcam/ Edited to say, you will probably see me in the garden a far bit today, shall be spending some quality time doing stuff with the girls
