Seems odd, in this country there are many children will do anything to get out of school, yet in places like this and Africa, children will walk miles and queue at the gates for the opportunity to learn.

How fantastic of him to do that

 

I've had coffee today with a friend who is going to the Phillipines for a month to work for her brother's charity that feeds poor children before school as often they've walked miles just to get to school to learn. Its the fact that they are so keen to learn that I love.

That's a great story, and it brought tears to my eyes - £25 is a sum that most of us would readily spend on a meal out or a new top, yet it would pay for a year's schooling for a child in Bangladesh. I hope that as a result of this he gets lots of donations.
