eggregiousness Posted October 13, 2009 Author Share Posted October 13, 2009 yup. works a treat, you cant taste onion, just honey honey has antiseptic properties and onion has loadsa vitamin C or something in it (my mothers a nut, she likes crazy concotions rather than shop bought stuff!) Hope eggregiousness has a better night and that all those feeling pants are feeling better soon. I find that paracetomol and codeine tablets help when I have a bad cough. Glad your sleeping a bit better Eggre.... But keep taking it easy or it could sneak back on you. My DD has been off school a week now, with no voice at all for 2 days (heaven for us! ) but really, she has been proper poorly so dont you go rushing back to work before your properly better. eggregiousness Posted October 16, 2009 Author Share Posted October 16, 2009 Went back to work - did 2 night shifts and then had to call in sick again. Doc changed my antibiotic and gave me a Salbutamol inhaler to help the gunk shift (technical term that). Slept much better last night. Have learnt my lesson and am having a few days off. I hope everyone else is feeling better. There are so many people round here with bad chests it's unreal! Don't know whether they all have secondary infections after the flu or what it is...
