I've just been out and put a light in the hen house as it is starting to get dusk here. Fingers crossed they'll get in without too much prompting as I don't want to set a precedent of putting them in by hand.

 

You are right - fish and chips, coat and flask, and a nice evening of chicken-watching is on the cards!

Awwww, takes me right back to the first day i got mine Im sooo happy for you, they all look beautiful, you must be such a proud chicken mummy! This feeling doesnt go you know, once they have you hooked thats life as you knew it gone for good!

They are lovely, reminded me of when our eglu and two girls came, it wasn't long before we visited Merrydale and added two more, Latte is a Sweetie, she is lovely and friendly.

How did they manage going to bed tonight?

 

They did it all by themselves while we were in the garage! One minute, lots of chickens in the run, the next minute they were all snuggled up together in the Cube. I left a light on for them and they found the way in there. Clever girls.
