So here's a few pics of my gorgeous Fjord mare in her posh new bitless bridle out hacking in the Autumn leaves. Sorry about the blurriness I must have put some weird setting on my camera

Ignore my hamster cheeks and check out the Autumn colours. Isn't she a pretty girl? She hacks out with my friend's racehorse and is nearly always in front, despite being such a little hairy lady, she's the sweetest most honest horse I've ever had, and in 18 months has come on so much I can ride her out in this gentle bridle. Hope you like the pony pics!

She looks gorgeous. Do you try and get all your horses to wear bitless bridles?

 

I hacked out last week on a 14 hand pony who was the stockiest thing i have ridden. He was very well behaved considering he is only 5 and had been kept on the smallest bit of land with no grass until he is where he is now.

 

How many horses do you have? I would love a horse and love going riding where i do. One day when i've got land and lots of money I hope to have one just to hack out on.

Thanks all. Anyone else with pony pics? @ sunshine yes I always work towards getting a horse soft and left-brained enough to be ridden bitless. I dont compete so I'm not bound by any equipment proscriptions. In fact the Fjord is the only one of my 4 who is shod (in front) and they are all ridden in treeless saddles. I'm the local Horse Hippie You dont see many of Fjords in the UK but they are fantastic little horses.
