4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Last week OH brought me a cube as a gift

 

This week we finally got it put in its place next to the run. all four chickies were very interested with it, sooty even decided to go and try out the nesting box

 

pics will follow tomorrow but it really looks good now i'm so pleased with it. I just hope they get the hang of the ladder, its quite high up for them, so we've had to put some wood behind it as i'm worried they might fall through the holes.

Two are ex-bats and one broke her leg about 4 months ago and shes very clumsy, she tried the ladder but ended up launching herself from the floor straight over the ladder and into the cube

 

anyway they all went to bed ok, but as usual both ex-bats are in the nesting box

They all had a very good night, they sort off fell out of the door this morning!

 

 

They also got a pressie today a feeder to hang treats in, they had apple and grape today

thanks everyone, the chickies seem to love it, but they are still getting the hang of the ladder, they all come flying out in the morning pretty fast!

i got the mesh from work, i work for a fencing company.

 

we had some damaged panels that were just lying around on a site and now its my run
