2009 Omlet cube and run for sale

This morning i realised one of my chickens, Monica had all her feathers fluffed up, she was really lazy and had little energy, she has this creamy runny poo stuck to her bum, all her feathers have fluffed up, she hasnt laid an egg today yet, i put her favourite food in front of her and she took little notice. someone please help! im really worried.

Well i just put her into the eglu coz i have to go to devon for a few days and she went straight to the roosting area

Do you have anyone looking after them while you are away because it looks as though she may need some tlc>

She needs to be kept warm and hydrated. Have you arranged for someone to do this for you?

 

I would worm her with Flubenvet when you get home.

Bad News, I came home from Devon today and found out last night Monica Died =[[ ive been so upset all day, She was only 9 months old and she was such a great chicken, very lively too, i cant believ this happened all of a sudden. getting two new chickens tommorow called Monica the Second and Rachel. Lol i need to update my signiture. Ye i got my sister to look after the chickens but she is a beginner and was at work most of the day. i think it was just very bad timing and her unfortunate death could have been prevented. So strange i keep crying ;[ just seeing her face gets me emotional, ill miss her very much.

Sorry to hear you lost her, the new girls will help. Have fun with introductions it is taking me ages

 

If they are not being very nice to each other and you are worried you can use canes across the eglu run to divide it and give them time to get used to each other.
