It seems you should use all your collectibles even if you have duplicates. I sold a dragonfly (for 5 coins ) before I realised you can have more than one. Suppose that's so you can get more than one set.

 

Having a quick look on the forum to see how the collectibles work, I found this.

 

so here is a quick list of how to find the 24 current collectibles

 

Gardening Tools:

Gloves are a Common that is found via Gifting

Trowel is a Common that is found via Plowing

Cultivator is a Common that is found via Fertilizing

Twine is a Uncommon that is found via Harvesting Sheep

I bought the Sweet seeds for Haiti & it took my FV's twice

 

I also sold my ugly Crunshie award,not realising you could click on it to get a reward.

 

And when I saw that I had s few dragonflies in my gift box I was really excited as I thought I would get them on my farm......

I've not got any of the awards except as gifts, so haven't seen any notifications. On the forum, they seem to be saying sometimes you get one, sometimes not.

 

I got the Crunchie award (1000 XP) then it disappeared . It's a known glitch apparently, so it may come back. (Maybe you'll get it after all, Sarah!)

I think you just "use" it, Mostin. I put it on my farm and I got a notification saying I'd got 1000 XP (which then disappeared ).

 

Maybe leave it in your giftbox till that's resolved?

Oh, I think that might have happened and I didn't notice , I remember a lot of lettering flashing up from it as I put it down

I just followed the link from facebook to the official farmville podcast on utube,(yes I know geeeeeeeek)

 

It said on their that the crunchie award gave you 10% of the points needed to take you to you next level, whatever that was.

 

it also said that the next land expansion is coming very very soon ,

 

but............make sure you are a fan of the official farmville page on face book as these people will be given access to it first.

Henriette, I have made a friend list of everyone I play farmville with. do this on the friends page the usual way.

 

When you are on your home page I have this list set to be right at the top on the left, so any actions my FarmVille buddies make I can see straight away, eg bonus' and eggs etc. It helps you not to scan through so many peoples updates to find them

Thanks for this. It took me some time but I got there in the end However, I have just read some recent posts and am now completely lost. Is there no hope for me.

No I've just checked my 'collections' and I have got some different things in there but it never said I'd collected them maybe you just have to check every now and then.

I've noticed lots of people suddenly becoming "fans" .

 

I've got a caterpillar in my collection now - no notification, it just wriggled in .

In the podcast it says when you get these collectable things a bar pops up for a few seconds above your neighbours bar, and when you get a rare one, you get to brag about it on your profile.

 

They must have flashed up and we've missed them. I did see the bar pop up when I accepted my dragonflies from the giftbox, so that must be what it looks like when you get them by chance when you're farming.

 

It's very quick though, and i bet I'll miss seeing them appear until I check my collections.

How do you get those premium crop mastery signs ? I know for a fact I got all the stars for carrots but then it just went back to the beginning .
