Well found out who the culprit was. A stoat.

 

Opened the coop up tonight to clear the mess up and out shot this stoat. We were in shock and so were my 2 dogs. One of the dogs (a foxhound) gave chase across the yard and through a field and eventually caught it. I felt bad after but after seeing what it did to those poor little innocent chicks then I'm just glad it can't do it again.
