Snowy
Grrrrrr..... I thought smallest son was playing nicely in his room He was - with two bottles of tippex, a playmobile set and a clay pot made in art by middle son. All now nicely painted white. I think the clay pot is beyond redemption, but any ideas how I can get tippex off plastic? Serves me right for laughing about Lesley's Tali chewing her diary I don't know what's worse - children or puppies
Lewis
I found this Don't know if its any help, they say you can get a thinner from stationery shops
Snowy
Thanks Lewis! Looks like it may be more trouble than it's worth! Oh well, it's only a bit of plastic at the end of the day. I'll persuade middle son to repaint his work of art (it was only one colour anyway - at least this time it will have a good base coat to paint on!) Edited to add - the thinner contains trike, NOT a very nice substance at the best of times, hence why I'll give it a miss
Geoid
You could try a bit of nail varnish remover, see if it works
bluekarin
I'd try washing it in warm water. WD-40 is quite good at getting sticky stuff off things so it might work with Tippex on Playmobil. Good Luck!
