Goosey Lucy
Something similar happened in a M&S store in Coventry about 2 years ago.

Willow
Always worth running these things through snopes, here they explain why it's false http://www.snopes.com/horrors/parental/kidnap.asp
sjp
the cov one is/was a myth but it still keeps poping up from time to time
Chook n Boo Mum
Good idea not to let little ones of a shave and kidnapable size & age go off to the loo on their own anyway Older kids would let the world know they were unimpressed I'd have thought but smaller ones are easier to scare into silence Sha x
Paddy
I heard the same story about two years ago about two foreign women in a shopping mall doing the same thing, I remember googling it and nothing coming up. I hope it is an urban myth
jlo
Good idea not to let little ones of a shave and kidnapable size & age go off to the loo on their own anyway Older kids would let the world know they were unimpressed I'd have thought but smaller ones are easier to scare into silence Sha x I would second that. There was a real incident(albeit not a kidnapping one) a little while ago with an eleven year old girl in a Sainsbury's loo on her own and that definitely wasn't an urban myth. I won't go into details here but you may well remember it.
Valkyrie
Remember that one - nasty incident. Always go with them if you can - even if it means testing every loo seat in the blooming room. Or having to go to the loo when you know she has only just been but "this one's different".
craftyhunnypie
Even I don't like going into loos on my own! I hate going the loo in Wetherspoons, as they are usuallu upstairs & off a landing area. Any bloke could follow you easily. I try & go the loo with someone whenever I can.
