oneyolktoanother
you might remember in june i hatched a light sussex which turned out to be a cockeral which we said we would keep and we had 1 cream legbar and a barnebar but the light sussex started to drag them aroung and i couldnet have that, so we have rehomed him to a man who has alot of cocks and hens ansd wants to breed from him and he has settled in well with the hens! but i am so upset i have cried non stop but at least i know he has gone to a good home and acres of land
BeckyBoo
That's a shame, I had a Brahma boy we hatched who I loved, but when he started trying to mount me and small boy he had to go too At least he's gone to a fab sounding home, hard to bear but better than the alternative - I expect he's loving his new harem! Chicken Shirl
{{{{Hugs}}}} I know just how you are feeling. I had to rehome 4 cockerels this year, they were all lovely fellows. It's good to know that yours has a good caring new home. I expect you can go and see him. I try and visit my boys and take them treats to share with their new friends. Hope you feel better soon. xx
