When the red, red robin goes wob, wob, wobblin' along!!

Recommended Posts

I love robins too. One of our cats brought one in once. I was not very happy :shameonu: I do think the photo looks more like the robin has fluffed up his feathers than he has been eating too many cake crumbs. We had a canary many years ago, and she was such a tiny thing. But when she fluffed up her feathers, she could make herself look really big.

Sarah, that pic is just beautiful :D I love the shape of a robin's head, the eyes appear to be on the top corners

To be honest, I did wonder if he was just fluffed up, you can actually see a lot of feather detail which you wouldn't see if his feathers were flat. They are still stunning pictures though :D

Interesting, nochucksyet, I have a couple of robins in my garden too (since late summer), and several blackbirds stripping the pyracanthus berries :D Does that mean we are in for a hard winter? As long as it's dry I suppose
