dusting nesting box with redmite powder as preventative?

Recommended Posts

hi, ive only had chucks for a month and was wondering whether i should be dusting bedding & nesting area with red mite powder and lice powder as a preventative measure? :?

i got 2 new orps on sat  and am keen to make sure they dont bring and unwanted nasties to pumpkin GNR and bungee PP .

if i do dust bedding etc do i need to withdraw the eggs? :?

thanks :D

Fred PP won't lay unless there is red mite powder in the nest box.

She would prefer to run around the garden making an absolute racket, and checking out under plants etc as potential nesting sites rather than lay in an eglu with no red mite powder...

Daft thing!! :D
