Theres the argument about getting them asap, so they arent to annoyed that more girls are coming along after they've been living comfortably on their own. prof Posted December 8, 2009 Share Posted December 8, 2009 i got & about a month ago & at wkend got 2 orps. & live in & got a for the new additions. i let them all out to free range after work and they all got along just fine . the only prob was when i went out at 5pm they had all put themselves to bed....................... in the i dont think there is an answer to your question. it just depends on the nature of your chooks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I always knew I would want more than 2, but thought 2 would be a good number to start with, as I never had chickens before. But they are so great I can't wait to have some more!!!
