Reikiranf
Having lost our lovely cat Lily at the end of August we've decided to adopt a couple of kittens I've spoken to a local charity & I'm going to go and visit them on Thursday to see the kittens Obviously I know that I have to have a home visit for them to check that we're suitable, but bearing in mind I have an almost 19 year old cat Sophie who I adopted from a friend last year & my cats that have died have all got to good ages 15, 17 & 19, I'm hoping that they say yes Any Omlet positive vibes will be very much appreciated! Olly
how lovely - good luck from me, you're obviously an experienced and knowledgeable cat-owner so I'm sure they will snap you up, especially as you are clearly not just wanting 'a kitten for Christmas' which must be a concern at this time of year. Keep us posted!
chickencam
Good luck My 2 mogs are both rescue cats, and the guy who came to do their home visit basically just wanted a decent donation, he didn't seem that interested in me or the house. Laura & CTB
When we got vetted for our rescue cats they were only concerned that we didnt live close to a main road - i.e. motorway Have fun on Thursday!

ali-s
Good luck from me as well. I adopted two kittens from the CPL a couple of weeks ago. The homecheck consisted of a lady handing me a folder of forms to fill in, I had spent the afternoon cleaning the whole of the cottage as I thought she would be checking that we were a clean and tidy family
Gem_Seb
Hope it all goes well! ive got all my cats from rehoming centres! the 2 i currently have were kittens when we got them and i wouldnt be without them now! Our homecheck was fine, just checked how close to a main road we were and whether they can have the use of a cat flap. ours refuse to go out though so we didnt need one in the end anyway! they are wuite happy coming out in the garden for a bit each morning and night while we sort the chickens out! Hope it goes well for you, and you get your 2 little bundles of fun soon!!
