Look what I made! *Guess what I just purchased?

It's eventually going to be a walk in run to replace a very small run attached to coop. I'm enclosing the coop in a 3x12 ft run.

Also thinking of replacing the coop with an eglu on a table as then there would be more room in the run.... investigating.

Sure Will! I'd love to join Redwing's Guild.

I just ordered a (green eglu) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's my xmas pressie. There was a choice of green or pink. I wanted purple. I love pink, but I thought it might look too bright. They still have some recon eglus.

This makes my walk in run plan so much easier. I only bought the wooden coop in August, but decided walk in run requires an eglu on table (errrr what size table?) to give chooks more space. My original plan was to build the run around the wooden coop. So now the 2 chooks in the cat run can live in the wooden coop next to the new run until my lavender likes Dotty!

Now what do I do with the plywood and onduline I bought to make a bigger coop. hmmm.

So excited! (green eglu)

S'cuse my ramblings!

I think your run is fab, Redwing! I hope mine will look similar to yours, but to start with it will be a bit over 3ft wide. Maybe 3.5 ft as the posts are quite thick... a bit like your nearest one in the photo. I even have some skirting boards in the shed. I wonder if ikea sells 80cm tables lol. :-)

Sorry, if you've read this to see my progress! Its going slowly as its freezing out there. I can't believe I was out in the snow on Friday treating wood. I recommend people buy treated wood, thick socks and thick gloves if doing such a project in the winter. lol.

p.s. I've had winter in Oz for the past 3 years. Its chooking cold. brrrrrr.
