docsquid
My littlest chicken, Gwennie, is A Bit Of A Character. She has a different voice from the others (Boo Boo rather than Bok Bok), and loves to explore everything. Today I was giving the cube a good scrub out and disinfect as it has been a bit neglected while I was ill. I heard a big thump from the shed, and looked round to see Gwennie had got into the tray of garlic I had stored from last year. I couldn't reach her to get her out, and so got the camera and took a photo. She then decided to get right down into the lower shelves in the shed behind a bicycle, the food bins and the bales of Hemcore. By this time she was well stuck behind a full bale of hemcore, and I wasn't keen on moving it as it weighs 20kg and I was frightened I'd hurt her if I didn't get a good grip and it slipped back. Fortunately, she managed to lever herself free using her wing like an arm to get a bit of grip on the lower shelf. She emerged back by the food bins. She seemed a whole lot more interested in the food that was in the bins than the food that is freely available in the Grub in the chicken run! She just Boo-Boo'd at me a few times and went off, completely happy with the experience, leaving me exhausted with the worry! I picked her up and checked her over in case she'd hurt her wing, but she was absolutely fine. I needed a cup of tea!

docsquid
All three of us have been "helping" us test a solar panel this afternoon. I can confirm that a chicken standing in front of it lowers the voltage by 5V! It's been a busy day for them!
dancing cloud
She's lovely! You can almost see her thinking "what's in here?" and "what does this do?". Looks like she had a great time .
chick wiggle
Bless her! What great pictures, as D.C. said, you can almost hear her thinking to herself, 'mm whats this etc.....' and then they calmly wonder off leaving us feeling a nervous wreck and shattered!
