I was a bit concerned that someone said their chickens had been given upset tums when on apple cider vinegar. I was advised to give just 5 mls per litre of water and only for three days and none of mine had any ill effects. In fact, it definitely perked up my sick girl who couldn't stand. She wasn't being bullied or kept from food, she was just weak and had no appetite. Within about three days, she was running round with the others again.

My girls get a little squirt of ACV in their water every day and I've not noticed any adverse effects. I wouldn't worry .

Mine get acv everyday as well and have had no problems

I alternate with a week of ACV and a week of Lifeguard, and have noticed no ill effects.

I wonder if they gave ACV un-diluted?

mine have they're weekly dose in the water today and for the next 3 days

I do find when they have an apple that the poo is a bit runny the next day but that's because 1 or 2 eat more than they're fair share
