It's much better than Wii fit. If you got bored with Wii fit and shoved balance board under the cupboard, try out the new one. Lots of fun, I burnt 97 Kcal (yeah, right)

I agree, it is so much fun and so addictive. I think that I loose more weight laughing at the person using it. OH literally poured sweat trying to complete 1 level on The Advanced Obstacle Course

I am driven mad by the juggling on the ball thing!

 

I have spent hours trying to get 5 balls going - not managed 4 yet...

 

I am suffering from "Wii Arm" at the moment though.... Too much playing on it over the weekend as couldn't get out, and my arm still aches!

Its brilliant - I love the Kung Fu

 

I have also got the EA Sports Avtive which is brillant for a more traditional workout - you get a leg strap for the nunchuck and an exercise band. Some exercises also use the balance board.

 

I've onle had the Wii Fir for a couple of weeks. Has anyone got the charge pack thig for the balance board and is it worth it? The batteries seem to be lasting OK

Haven't got the charge pack but the batteries seem to last a long time. We use rechargeable batteries in all of the remotes etc all from poundland

We haven't - and the batteries have lasted fine. Much longer that the remotes.

 

We did buy the re-charger thing for the remotes - but the batteries die really quickly we found, so I don't bother anymore. I get large packs of AA batteries from the pound shop in town, and they last ages and we can actually play on the Wii, rather than wanting too and finding the batteries need re-charging again.

 

 

And agree - the Sports Active is great! Although had it for a year and still not managed to do the 30 day start thing... I get side tracked, or go away, or do a different exercise... Ho hum! Perhaps that should be my new years resolution!

We haven't got this, might look into it. We'd have to buy the balance board too though. OH and I are currently doing the 30 day thing on the Sports Active (second time around for me - didn't finish it last time ). Its going well so might see about getting this other one for a bit of a change.

We had great fun with it over the holidays, especially the obstacle course and the flying chicken!

Wii with fit plus, balance board and Sports (i guess it was a package) was my xmas present from OH.

I reallylove it all, we have so muh fun with it...I also like the way it tells me I weigh less than I know I do!!!!

we have even got MiL doing the bowling and tennis on sports !! she's 85!!
