No, but I will be going here: http://www.dundrynurseries.co.uk/plist.asp normally 150 varieties for sales with advice during the potato weekend (23rd/24th Jan). They sell from on etubar up to loose by the kg. Good prices and real experts - we have used them for 4 years on our allotment.

We get our spuds from there too, and our onions shallots and broad beans.

 

We always buy far too many and too many different varieties to try but lose track of which is which once they are harvested. Our favourites are desiree, picasso and maris piper. I always feel like spring is coming when potato day comes around.

Hampshire's to far for me but my mate who I put displays on with has it covered he'll be there both days

if todays anything to go by it'll be good seed spuds next week

Oh goody! That's great news - missed that variety last year, I think the certification hadn't come through at the time. Not that the ones we had weren't any good, but the Cheries seem to do really well in our soil.

We stopped going to Potato Day as even on members day it is just so crowded - I struggle with my knee problems and we both struggle with the numbers of people.

 

I order mine from Edwin Tuckers - they do some organic varieties of potatoes and seeds.

Same here! After getting caught out and Dundry's running out of Golden Wonder 2 years ago we have gone the weekend before - they will also take a pre-order so you can just turn up to collect at the potato weekend if you want.

 

This year we have Red Duke of York, Catriona, Golden Wonder, Desiree, King Edwards, & Pink Fir Apples. We still have a full sack of Golden Wonder in store from last year, plus about 1/3 sack each of King Edwards and Pink Fir Apples to keep us going for the next few months.
