OH and I were hosting a quiz last night and one of the questions that I had to ask was about the "Wee, sleekit, cowrin, tim’rous beastie" in Burns' poem. My friend from Arbroath thought that I didn't do a bad job!

Now that's one of my words - I love kerfuffle - it's how I describe the chickens integrating. Or was it something to do with mum . . .???? Yep I use that word a fair bit.

We have so many words, lines that we use from films/songs/tv that sometimes it appears that we have our own language. The problem is, we are so often on the same wave length that we come up with the same ones at the same time - scary really Mind you, loved one comes up with many more from the old black and white movies than I do...

I'm afraid to admit though, that as we have recently been watching Darling Buds of May, "Perfick "is the current word of appreciation. Hammy or otherwise.
