Yes, i weakened!! does anyone want me to pick up the cirular needles(the ones with a needle each end, and a long piece of heavy nylon thread/ropey stuff joining them together) sizes 51/2 or 6mm? Mrs Webmuppet
Hi Freddie, Yes please to both sizes of circular kneedles. My Mum wants an Icelandic style chunky jumper knitted and I think they are probably the right size. Please let me know how much I owe you for the needles & postage. You are a star. Plum
I went into several charity shops yesterday looking for knitting needles and was told they weren't allowed to sell them - health and safety. What were they going to do, stab the customers
Valkyrie
Ooh how odd, Plum. I'm not sure about used sewing needles and pins, but knitting needles with a sharp point are called javelins - and I can't see anyone trying to lift 2 of those up unless you are King Kong (and you'd get very holey jumpers)! I think Erin's one has knitting needles from time to time - they have wool and other sewing stuff.
