just a quickie I thought was worth sharing: this morning I hung up a savoy cabbage in the run as I often do - but I added tinned sweetcorn between all the leaves. Hung it upright to keep the corn in - and as they peck through each layer, the corn flies acorss the run. I've got it up high, so it gets flung about nicely

On the subject of corn, Morrisons are selling packs of 2 cooked corn on the cob for £1.30ish. My girls peck at it long after the corn's all gone - I think because it's juicy unlike the dried cobs.

Thats a good idea, might try that. Might nip to Morrisons too for some fresh sweetcorn. I've got the dried ones hung up around the WIR and they don't seem to have touched them at all.

Actually, the totally dried ones (from Pets at Home) were a disaster here too - I ended up throwing them all out. It's the ones that are ready to cook from Morrisons that I use now (when they don't have the offer on the cooked ones on!)
